1st ? I have a 40 h/p 2 stroke 4 cyl. elec.start Merc. made in Belgium s/n 09682784.2nd ? If it has a 9amp. Blk. stator what part # (cdi #)would I need to replace it? Thanks

Based on what I could find:<br /><br />1992<br /><br />Stator per p/n 398-832075A20 (electric start) CDI p/n 174-2075K2 (red)

Ok, Here's were I'm at.I got the old stator off and it's black and the # on it's 398-818535A3.What CDI p/n replaces this. AMD Rules thanks for the reply.I was told before that it was a 1996.
