I have just bought a ski boat with a Chrysker 700 Skier motor on it and Don't exactly know what year it is. I need to know because the head gasket is bad on it and i need to order a new one. Any other suggestions or comments are welcome...thanks a bunch! <br />--Dylan

I was also wondering how difficult a motor like this one is to completely rebuild.

West Bend became Chrysler around 1965. Chrysler became Force around 1984 when bought by US Marine. Brunswick bought Force around 1990 and kept the name until it stopped production in 1999. They're among the simplest outboards in design, so if you've never done one, a Chrysler may be a good first project. :)

Post the model number on your motor. Should be located under the carb near the lock assembly on the lower cowling.
