What year and Mix ratio

Hi Just bought a small 16'1979 sea spirit with<br />a 40hp Mercury Thunderbolt Ser# 5992353 i need to<br />know the year and the oil mix ratio , I have searched the web and can not find anything on this engine can someone please help me out<br />Thank You

All Mercs are 50:1 mix oil/fuel mix.<br /><br />It is a 1982 vintage.<br />It will look like this. Blue bands and white text.
