What Year? and can I still obtain parts

I have a 100 HP black mercury outboard engine serial number 1514920. What Year was this engine made and can I still buy parts. I also need a repair manual for this engine since I bought it used in 1963.

If you bought your motor used in 1963 and<br />it really is a 100hp It should be a 1962 Merc.1000<br />There are parts around.
