what type of plywood should i use for an aluminum boat and where to get it and what steps do i need to do for the aluminum boat as to avoid any chemical reactions? epoxy? what kind thanks

i use exterior AC plywood, either fiberglass, or 3 coats of a good oil base paint. a lot of aluminum boats do not have glassed decks. fit your wood, then paint all edges and surfaces.

would an epoxy work what brand of epoxy or fiberglass should be used and can u still apply carpet over the wood after u epoxy? thanks

The AC is the grading of the veneers on the outside of the plywood.
"A" being a very good face with no knots or repaired knots showing.
"C" is usually the back side and it is obvious that the veneer has repairs made to it.

will eposy work to coat the wood if i go with the marine grade plywood?
