Just want to know the type of grease I should be using on my evinrude 150 intruder? I have been using the same grease that I use for my wheel bearings. It's a green in color marine grease.

The bluish colored Triple-Guard grease from any Johnson/Evinrude dealer is sticky to stay in place and is salt-water proof. Mercury's 101 green grease is very good, and very expensive.

For tilt any marine grease will work. For Steering, use a very lightweight oil to lube rod.<br />The zirc fittings on engine bracket are for tilt only. No provision to lube steering unless you lube steering rod manually.
