I am a fist time boat owner and having troble with my 82 sea ray sundancer with a mercruser 260 (chevy 350 small block).the previous owner replaced the motor with a 96 or newer mercruser. the problem started out like a fouled plug and has progressed. I have replaced the following, plugs, wires,carb(new rebuilt quadrajet) and coil. and the problem got worse. now it will blow the spark plug out of the #7 cylinder witch blows the head gasket and I have water in the the ajoining cylinders.
I have had the heads magniflucked and resurfacedtwice and no improvement,
im sure here is more I have done but just cant think of it now
so after 6 mechanics 3 of them marine want to tell me the symptyms can any one tell me the couse.
