Largest smallmouth was est. 6lbs plus. Caught by accident(over casted a boulder up in Ontario about 15 years ago). It hit my jig and I was lucky enough to have a tight line and good hook set and brought it up over the boulder(actually the fish must of been hungry and hooked itself extremely well).<br /> Largest Largemouth was again by accident(fishing with ultra light for sunfish before Bass season was open,) and was approx. 7 lbs. Luckily I had not listened to my fishing partner and went to 4 lb test and still had on my 6lb. Stll a good fight. <br /> Feel lucky, as for up here in the 'North Country' , these are good fish.
