What the biggest bass you have caught?

Mine was 8lbs over 15 years ago. I have 2 6lbers<br />since then but that is it.

Ol' bucketmouth Bass... I used to be a bass fishing fool when I was younger.... I've caught more five to six pounders than I can count, but nothing larger than six pounds...

12.5# and it actually got too easy to catch a bunch over 8# and many 10# and up where I fish. My next challenge is to do it with my flyrod. BTW I have caught more than one 10# bass on 6# line.

been aaalllooonnnnggg time since i caught over a 4 pounder.. course it's been a while since i 'pond fished'.. <br /><br />average is around 1 1/2 to 3 pounds..<br /><br />my biggest was a 7 lb'der when i was 12.. fishin' with my pop in lower/slower delaware ... the same year i caught a very very rare 10 lb landlocked rockfish ( striper ) .. <br /><br />i was 'KING TURD' ,, that whole summer..!!

I know you are not pulling 12 pounders out all over the place in south carolina. I lived in Wilmington delaware, Myrtle Beach SC, and West Palm Beach FL, and 12 pounders are rare for even south Fla.!

1948. I was 12. Caught a 10lb.-er on a cane pole and a live punkinseed.<br /><br />Haven't caught one over 5lb since then.

i guess you're talking LGM bass, since stripers get huge. i've not caught any over 7.5#, but caught probably two dozen 6+#... <br /><br />FH, ok i'll take a guess.... altho its hard to tell from the pic. it looks healthy, but not a full belly. <br />- i'll go with 10.25#

It was just over six pounds acording to my digital scale. I thought it was heavier myself. Maybe I should check my scale.

dang man - 6#<br /><br />now i can only say that i've weighed the fish i boasted on. the 7.5 looked like it was starving, and would've been a mounting size normally. and i've witnessed many 10+ LGM weighed during my swamp fishing days. the best was a 12.75# another guy caught. <br /><br />i dunno, either your scales are off, those northern fish are light in the loafers, or you're a midget. well, maybe you're holding it really far from your body. its a hellova good pic for sure <br /><br />it looks bigger than the 8.75# my pop caught when visiting me & my fav swamp down south...and as big as the 10+# my mother was holding for a pic during the same visit(caught by a local) lol

9 1/2 lbs........21" long.<br />Unfortunately for me, (fortunate for the fish)<br />it was in the slot on Ray Roberts and I had to turn it loose.<br />Oh well,,,,,,,<br />maybe next time I'll bring my fish stretchers.....

Bass are hard to find around here, but there are<br />a few small pot hole lakes a few hundred miles <br />from here in B.C.<br />My favorite fishing hole was stocked with small<br />mouth bass early in the 1900's but they never<br />were able to reproduce.<br />I did catch a few small mouth of no consequence<br />In Lake Simco in Ontario a few years back, nothing<br />since then.

A couple summers ago I pulled in a 24 inch. About 8 pounds I would guess. Pretty good for up north bass. Several Smallies about 5 pounds or so.<br />D

The largest bass I have ever caught, was a 2 ton tree bass that was approximately 25ft long and had a girth of approx 5ft. Never did get that one in the boat. <br /><br />Seriously, the biggest bass I have ever caught was only about 20 inches. I dont bass fish very much. Most all the fishing I do is for Crappie, and Bream.

9lb14oz when i was 17<br />some 6,7,8 since but no double digit fish. i can catch a 40lb flathead with barehands but no ten pound bass on a pole

10lbs on accident, i was fishing at lake casitas place called coyote creek, catfishing. i threw out my bait, which was cut mackeral. wham right when it hit the water. <br />i never bass fish on purpose, unless its strippers
