It really is....its a very scenic area especially in the fall.

It bothers me that they don't care what their punishment is........they don't feel bad about what they did.

I guess thats why it is tough for me to believe that most punishment will phase them at all. I am still personaly hoping for them having to go clean that church every week and do odds and ends things for the community. But that just doesnt seem strict enough...........

Texashotdog is spot on..........fact is many people find God through their hate of him. It could happen to these buttheads too. More then one jerk has changed their ways when exposed to Christ......A fellow named Paul for one........ well he was once known a Saul to some until he met God.......For those of you who dont know, he persicuted to the death Christians but when he saw God for who he was, he became a Christian....one who wrote more new testament books then any other. Yes they should be punished but if done right who knows........after some schooling( spelling to be exact) maybe they could become something. Maybe even Pastors or priests......Stranger things of happened.

This may or may not be significant. Some years back, a small pine tree was cut from a cemetary. This was before "hate crimes", but the planters were adamant because tehy planted it in memory of their father and the media got hold of it and turned into a 3-ring circus. They never did find the culprit. But it turns out it was an aquaintance of mine (friend of a friend). He had a new wife and a months-old kid. No job, no money, and Christmas was right around the corner. All he wanted was a nice Christmas for his new family and he couldn't afford presents, let alone a Christmas tree. On a local level, it got just as much press as this story did on a national level. Sure the motives were different, but the result was the same. A whole lotta noise about an otherwise unremarkable act. Get it into perspective. There's far more in the world far more worthy of such a ruckus.

That church is amazing. People drive miles just to go to church there on Sunday. Friends of ours got married there... theres a room that has canes, walkers, etc of people who have been healed from stuff in that church.

The best part is if I drive 2 miles away from my house (further away from the church) you can see that church sitting on top of the hill off in the distance like a grand castle of God.

Simply amazing.

Sean
