What Size outboard for a starcraft

hello guys guys new to the forum.just got a boat and undsided which size outboard to purchase..the boat is a 1980 starcraft stinger 19'..any suggestions

Wow a 19 inch Starcraft......... maybe a good electric motor

Rule of thumb for any boat...... at least 75% of the recommended maximum horsepower will be perfect.

What condition is the hull in? The transom?

Do you have any pictures?

the hull is great and has a brand new transom and flooring...its completely redone minus the motor now lol..can get pics up next week wen ill be around it!

PS...I MEANT A 19' SORRY
