My Seloc book says to set the timing at 3 degrees ATC. My flyweel only goes to zero. What the???? The appendix in that same book says set time to zero degrees. Which is correct? <br />

Yo Scott,<br />I've got a Clymers manual and for the 1978 70 hp.<br />Evinrude for setting sync and link it sez 17 deg.BTDC @ 46-5000 rpm and the throttle pick @ TDC. It also explains how to find TDC.<br /><br />g/luck & c/6<br /><br />Hooty
