Man...I've been so busy and haven't had anytime to check on this forum. Wow!...It looks like there's more Tahoe owners out there...Congrats to all!
I run a 17", 18" and 19" pitch x 14" diameter Merc. Enertia on my 2008 Tahoe Q7i with 260 hp Merc. 5.0 and Alpha One outdrive. I have three different sizes for the different loads I'll carry that day. I swear by the Enertia because I've tried all sorts of three blades and four bladed props and found that Enertia performs the best for my needs.
With me, wife and dogs, and gear, I'll get about low to mid 50's at about 5,200 rpm's. Of course, the more load I carry I'll reduce the pitch to the 17 inch which is pretty norm for this boat. Also, the Enertia has a longer hub that bites the water. With this prop, I can turn on a dime without any chine walking or ventilation problems.
But that's just me and I'm sure other people will swear by their props, too.
