I got talked into taking an old Starcraft glass to the landfill and am stripping parts.
The 140 is seized and the oil pan was full of water.
As you can see from my username, I'm a packrat and can't have too many old Merc parts.
So,my question is, is it worth saving things like the carb(Rochester 2gc) exaust manifold, oil pan, drive coupler or throttle parts ?
Also, is this 140 unique enough to rebuild? ( I can't give serial numbers, the tag was bent under and pinched by the flywheel cover) It would be a hobby not a money maker. I've done many auto and marine engines before.
