What model is my Evinrude?

Just bought this used boat. I am having problems with the prop engaging...no spinning in forward or reverse. Anyhow, the engine has been rebuilt; but they blacked out all the markings of what make or model of the engine. I've searched Hi and Lo for any clues so I can get the right service manual. Anyone have any suggestions??? I would appreciate it very much.

There is a silver plug on top of the motor with the model number stamped into it.

Its about the size of a dime or a little larger..

Nothing on the transom bracket on the port side?
