I have a 235 hp Evinrude which is utelizing the 5/16" fuel lines and fittings
that exhist on the boat from a smaller previous motor. I would rather
leave the fuel lines alone because the quick release fitting which is attached to the tank is 5/16, and dont really want to tear it out. (If I dont have to)..
I am afraid that at high R's that the carbs will starve for fuel, but I am thinking that if I install a 12Volt fuel pump, it will pump enough
VOLUME of fuel to compensate for the smaller 5/16" lines.
My question is to ask anyone who is using an electric pump which choice they made. I know that a Mallory 'full race pump', 150 GPH is a little overkill.
