"Nuff for you?

First and last photos are a 14 foot flat bottom with a 90 on the back, at 55 MPH. Notice that it is riding on only the last 18 inches of hull? It now has a 125 and does 60 (GPS). This season I will try some mods to see if I can get 65.

Second photo is my 21 foot Manatee cuddy with a Chrysler 140.

Third is the boat on which I had my first date with my wife. 1971 Glastro V153. It has a Chrysler 90 and hits 45MPH.

Fourth is a larger size of the avatar with a 55. Cougar cub. It is disappointing, only gets 44 MPH. Probably because the hull is too small (10 ft) for the weight I put in it.

Eventually my 140, which is ported and has a couple of other mods, will go on the 14 footer to see what she will do when allowed to rev up. I think I am getting to the point where a nose cone would help.

Maybe I will take her to the Chrysler Nationals in 2012.
