What kind of boat is this with evinrude motor

Long shot but I'm trying to figure out what kind of skiff is in Billy Joel's video of his song downeaster alexa (song is from 1989 and if you don't know it find and watch the video on YouTube. Song is incredible. Anyway there is a scene where fisherman are launching a skiff with their ford truck into the ocean right from the beach. Next scene shows the inside of the boat driving up a wave with a guy in the bow steering the motor by hand on the hood. Crazy part is the motor is mounted inside the boat with the prop going through the floor and out the bottom. I'm assuming it's something native to the long Island NY area as this is where the song references. I'll try to get a still shot of it and post here. Sorry this isn't really directly related to this forum but didn't know where else to ask.

I think it's called a mullet boat from what I found

I haven’t seen the vid but will look for it.
What you describe certainly sounds like a mullet boat. I grew up with them down in Fl. The nets are run off the stern so the motor is up front.
The closest thing I have seen up north here is the Simmons skiff which were originally from the Carolina’s but were popular in the north east as well in the 50’s and 60’s. The motor is also inside the hull but in the back.
