We are predicted to get our first significant snowfall of the season this weekend. They were predicting 4 to 8 inches but now only 1 to 3. I guess we'll have to wait and see what actually happens.
Sounds like around here, they start out talking about a bunch of snow and we're lycky to get flurries. Center part of the country is getting it all. Have to go south to ride...
Weather forecast has been updated to possibly -30 to -40c.Now remember anything after -40c is colder than the farenhight (sp) scale. As an example -45 c is 49 f.Coldest ive ever experienced was in White River Ontario in the 1980,s at -49c which is -56.2f!
I think that's the same system as is going to hit here.N Wisc is actually north of me .Up at Kapuskasing its forecasted to maybe hit -56f. Any snow in your future ?I really liked the Superior Wisc area.
Well, today the bay was making a lot of ice, every time I was outside you could hear the ice cracking, groaning, and singing. Never heard so much noise this time of year. Don't know how the ice fishermen did but they probably wondering what the heck also.
We are supposed to get another 6ā-12ā Friday night into Saturday, along with winds gusting to 25-30 mph. I think weāre getting the stuff you should be having, WIMUSKY.
We got a couple inches last night ... flurries right now ... tomorrow at 1 is when the snow is to start ... question is whether we will have a period of sleet in the middle of the snow. If we do, we should get about 10 inches total. If we don't get the sleet, it will all be snow and could be about 16 inches till it stops Sunday afternoon and then it turns cold (around 0) for Sunday night and a high of 15 for Monday.
Drove back to central PA from DC in the middle of last nights fun ... some people are idiots when they drive ...
