This is a 2003 Yamaha 50 2 stroke with tilt and trim. I don't have any more info at this time as it's my brother's motor and is far from me. In the picture there are two parts of a plug located on the front left side of the motor. My question is what is this plug for and should the two parts be connected? There is a white wire on the female part of the plug that prevents it from reaching the male plug. The white wire goes over to the other side of the motor. This is according to my brother. I have not personally tried to see if the two can be connected. In my brief research it appears to maybe go to the oil system but but this is from looking at parts diagrams. I'm not able to trace it out on the motor itself. Thought I'd ask here to get the answer and save a little time. Thanks! Brad
