thanks. I could not find this part number on their website though. Also, the choke knob, when out has the plate open, pushed back, it closes it. so I am not sure if choke is on when pushed in or pulled out. It started a total of 3 times 5 years back... I think using the rope around the flywheel directly.Check the pic for part number 43-803642T at Crowley Marine.
The spring should slid in and suit in the groove at the bottom of it.
If that groove is gone the gear will not work properly.
In your video it locks like it is working properly !!!!
