What is this leaking part called?

My 1993 Ford 302 OMC Cobra (raw water cooled):

Its leaking raw water from some part behind the starboard motor mount. It appears to be some threaded plug or maybe a unused sensor (no wires going to it).

I can't really see whats going on because the motor mount is in the way (mirrors have been no help either). Anybody know what this thing is? In the pictures I'm talking about the wet piece that's in the void between the head and the mount.

I want to buy a new one of ???? before I lift the motor. Speaking of, Any tips on that? Or can I just remove the one mount and rely on the port mount and bellhousing to support everything?

it's a frost plug.you will have to support the engine and remove motor mount to pound a new one in.

From your pictures, you can't really see what is leaking because the motor mount is in the way.

I wish I could give you a better picture but that's as good as it gets until I can get something to support the engine. Would blocks of wood shimmed under the oil pan be enough? Or is that too much for a fiberglass hull and/or oil pan?

As for frost plugs, I though that they were flush/recessed into the block, not threaded. Anyone?

Random thought: Is this where the knock sensor would go for an EFI? Or did the marine EFI'd 302's not even have knock sensors....
The engine is carbureted, but stranger things have happened on assembly lines.
