what is the year of my 16 S N

I just bought a 16 S N found the tag on the inside of the transom here is what it says
Serial 6R (followed by the rest of the numbers)
Model 16 R U rated for 45 hp and 5 persons or 1150 lbs
Manufactured by Sea Nymph Syracuse Indiana

Depending on the year, the "rest of the numbers" might tell you the mfg date.

If you can post some photos folks can probably ballpark it for you based on hull design.
