What is the model year 50 hp Merc

I have 50 hp Mercury Outboard serial number 9363153: can anyone tell me the year model? The serial plate says "Mercury Outboards-Div. of Brunswick SA B 4822 Verviers-Made in Belgium." Motor cover has brown bands.

It is a 4 cylinder. I was told by the previous owner it was a 1981, but he waasn't sure of it. I'm still trying to confirm for sure.

Brownband is 1984 or later.. Last Blueband made in 1983<br />Yours is a 1985 50 6586624 - A912477 1985 4 cyl
