Have a friend of yours in another state buy it for you. Meet them half way for the transfer and pay for his/her gas. Nice way to stay in touch and get a motor at the same time.

Agree with Silvertip

Find one in another state, go buy it with cash, give the address of the local post office for registration. Don't bother with the warranty it's over rated any way.

Chances are you are not going to find a dealer in CA that can or is willing to sell a new 2 Stroke engine due to most new 2 storks engine are no longer eligible to be sold in CA if they do not meet an emission standards rating that seems to be changing yearly.:faint2:

Good luck even finding one in the US.
You might find one in Canada.
Certainly in Mexico.
