This white sensor just left and below the Fuel filter. What is it For?

You can take a pick and dig potting matera; out and reconnect wire with a 1/8" red 22G female connector

You can replace it for $160. I would look aftermarket for a better price.

I will assume a VOP is the VRO system. Even if you remove the VRO, a fuel restriction alarm is a real good idea. V4 engines do not have it, but OMC thought it necessary for V6 engines.

How do you remove that Vacuum Valve. I saw one took off from below the starter which had a ring mount around it with a bolt , Mine is to the left of the VRO and mounted in the plate the VRO is mounted on with a nut on the back. Do I have to take the plate off to replace the switch or is there a trick to doing this? lol
