What ever happened to the guy who built the plywood boat?

Remember the thread by a guy who built what looked like an oversize jon boat out of 3/4" plywood? I was looking for the thread but can't find it. I think it was just last spring/summer.

Anyone remember what the outcome was? Did he launch it?

Maybe it sank...

I did see a plywood boat on youtube a few months back but now I cant find it. It had some really bad leaks though.

he who builds boat from interior grade plywood should take swimming lesson first
