While winterizing motor, I was running the motor on the muffs to get the treated fuel through the system. When I thought it was long enough I took the Fogging oil & gave it a shot or two into each air intake, (I will also remove each plug & treat each cylinder), Here's where I ran into the potential problem, I started at the top cylinder air intake when I sprayed it into the hole it did dog the motor a bit, then motor recovered, normal right? Same thing with the middle cylinder, dogged down a bit & recovered, normal right? Then I did the bottom cylinder, it really dogged the motor down, didn't stall but close to it. Top & middle reacted the same & bottom cylinder nearly stalled. What's up? I know the typical reply will be a compression test. Can I do a compression test with the cylinders lubed up with fogging oil? Or wait till spring & deal with it then? It won't make much of a difference to wait because I can't afford a rebuild right now anyway, have my extra cash tied up in the deck replacement. Or is this cylinder reaction normal? Doubt it but hopeful.
