Re: What Does a Fishing Website Need?
My 2 biggest complaints about any websites are pop ups and music. I don't want to listen to someone else's favorite song everytime I log on so at least have a button to switch it off if desired.

I also don't care for sites trying to impress everyone with there 'design' skills. I don't need special effects when pages load or unload. Keep it simple. It's kind of like when everyone bought their first computer. They used their new software to print out an invitation to a party or something. Since they had a huge supply of type styles to choose from they had to use about 14 different fonts on a one page flyer, its too distracting.

As far as fishing sites in particular, update the information regularly. Guides should change pictures occasionally and recent fishing reports may help sales. Remove any nonworking links also.
