I pull my 19ft Galaxy ski boat with a 1998 F150,2WD, 4.6L V-8, auto. It does a decent job but I wish it had the bigger engine option. When I bought the boat I had a 1982 Dodge 2WD, 225 slant 6, 4spd tranny. Not exactly sure what I was thinking? The lake I frequent has the boat launch built on a levy, very step. It got the boat up the ramp, but it sure was an adventure. And I was sweating bullets all the way up and slipping the clutch to keep the engine from bogging down and dying. Needless to say, the Dodge was replaced that Monday with my present truck.

I tow a 2005 Caravelle 207 5.0 MPI with a p4 Jeep, 4.0 auto 36" iroks,ARB's ford axles.

We pull our 18' Marlin runabout with a Honda Pilot V6 4WD, but I have to say - it's about all the Pilot could handle...

We've actually been talking about moving up to a 3/4 Ton 4-door 4X4 Diesel truck... since we'd also like to maybe get a small travel trailer...

The Pilot is a nice vehicle, but it's underpowered for a family of 4, dog, gear, and boat... :-/

we use my wifes 2005 Honda Element 2wd for her 12ft aluminum w/9.8 merc for fishing get lots of looks too .The Element works great though

Ok, since I have more than one boat, this is my second picture. this is my 85 southwind (I have had for twenty years) pulling my 17' haskell jet boat with two of our stand up jet skis and my wifes sea doo xp, behind all that is my 16' hobie cat. I like all the toys when I go to the lake. my earlier post was of my 75 f600 pulling our 28' safari. and as soon as the 79 sanger ski hydro is done I will post a pic of it behind the old 90 ford super cab.

I used to tow my 88 Four Winns with my 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 six...now am going to be using an 07 Grand with a 5.7 Hemi.....

Just bought a 2002 4x4 4Runner to tow the 20 ft heavy, deep V center console.

With some of the slimy ramps here in Fla, wanted the piece of mind of 4x4.

Tow my 67 Johnson Surfer with a 2007 Ford F150. 5.4 3.73 4wd. Pulls it well. I won't bother posting pics. Everyone knows what an F150 looks like and I don't have pics of my boat hooked to the truck.
