I'm near the Dells... Tourist Central!!!<br /><br />Yeah, $8 a year it is - paid biannually. On one hand it seems pretty cheap compared to the other guys posting, but OTOH, we've been in the top 5 states with the highest taxation for years and years! So I guess we're paying for it in other places :mad: . Montana is permanent. You pay once (approx $30) and it is good for as long as you have your boat. Trailers too. It is nice not to have to worry about it.

So, that's why I thought it was silly to have to pay for a paddle boat!, there were no fees back home! (But there were lakes!) $36.00 for boat, jet ski and paddle boat ( which hardly see water) thats for 2 years.

Oh the trailer was permanent at I think 60 dollars. Was going to be 20 for 3 years and I know I will have the boat forever.
