What do I have here?

Got an Evinrude here but not sure about the hp and age. The # on it is 652735 with a serial # of J0(or O)16477.

Looking around it looks to be a 65 hp from '72 or '73. Can anyone confirm that? Also, the cheapest place to get a manual for it if one exists?

Yours is a 1972 and the cheapest place is Ebay however if you want an OMC service manual in your hands this week you can order from

Do not buy a third party manual they are useless as they cover a wide range of outboards and not just your model.
