What do I do with my 1989, 100 Mercury

I have a 1989 100 HP Mercury that I'm ready to get rid of. The local Mercury dealer doesn't want to mess with it. It's in beautiful shape, it does run but it's got a knock in it - I no longer trust it. A neighbor says he'll give me $300 for it. Do I take it? Would you guys try ebay? What would you guys do?

My first step would be trying to sell it on ebay, if you can't sell it, take the 300 bucks from your neighbor.
