what compression should i have

I have a 78 johnson 6 hp and i want to do a compression check, what numbers should i get for compression? thanks <br />jim

Hi Jim,<br /><br />100 PSI and over would be great, providing they are all within 10-15 % of each other...Lower readings are acceptable if they are close to each other...If your reading are low or uneven, try this first and take them again...<br /><br /> Decarb
