What brand and pitch prop for Q6 5.0

Now that I`ve found the tahoe area of the forum, I`m curious as to brand and pitch some of you guys are using on your Q6 5.0`s. I know this can very greatly based on individual use. I`ve currently got a 21p aluminum and am satisfied with top end speed 48-50 mph, but would give up some top end for a quicker holeshot when pulling skiers with 3 or 4 other people in the boat. I`m sure stainless would be best, but am hoping to get away with aluminum if possible. Mostly, due to cost. Does brand really make a difference?

I've got a Q6 with the 5.0, carb version. I run a Mercruiser Vengence 21 pitch stainless and it does great. About your same top end but decent hole shot even pulling a couple of skiers up.

Thanks for the reply. Were you able to see a big difference with the stainless vs aluminum prop? I`ve currently got a merc 21p aluminum on my boat. Some people who have ridden on the boat suggest a 19p for a quicker holeshot. I`m a novice boater, so I welcome all input.

It's actually the only prop I've had on this boat. There were some delivery issues when I bought it and I was able to talk the dealer out of this free upgrade. I believe SS flexes much less than Al and makes the hole shot considerable better but that's unproven in my mind.
