What are these??

I found these in the upper unit of my alpha 1 gen2 while hunting down a gear lube leak. object on left is melted plastic. parts on right are rubber, one has a metal plate in it. they were in the lower half of the upper unit. Can anyone help me PLEASE?

You have posted on the wrong forum should be in the I/O forum but those are the exhaust flappers one pair goes in each exhaust just below the exhaust elbows and should be replaced before running to much
