What are these pads made from?

As you can see in this proline they have these tan pads that are very rock solid that were used to bond the deck to the subfloor. I plan on building my deck by putting 3/4 on the outer edge. I posted on here a while ago and was prompted to keep digging for wet foam, rotten stringers & transom. They all checked out
[Deck rotted because of poorly sealed console & seat screws after a previous rewire.]

I would have to measure and see how far it is from that subfloor to the bottom of my ply and maybe I could get away with some plywood pads that I glass in and then use 5200 to bond the deck to those pads. However, if there is some sort of really thick resin paste that will achieve this that would be nice. I have cabosil on hand and everything will be polyester. Thanks

To me it looks like big dabs of some kind of filler. My boat had some of that kind of material that behaved like body filler when I sanded / grinded on it.

Those are gobs of adhesive. Imagine gluing something to a floor using spots of glue. Boat manufacturers have equipment that pumps that stuff and some of them go wild with it. Your boat looks like it has an interior liner in it. It was molded much the same way the hull was then dropped in on top of the adhesive. If you want to you can leave them in place and put spots of PL glue on top of them then lay the floor down on top of them.
