I should add that I have a cell. phone, as does his mom. He checks in when he gets home and then again if he goes out. If he can't reach either of us (hasn't happened) the deal is he stays home until he does.

I am gonna bike it with him this weekend, and let him try it next week. He is really wanting to do this, and I am proud he wants to try.<br /><br />I also agree with not keeping the kids locked up. My parents had about the right strickness on my siblings. I was driving at age 16, but couldnt have anyone in the car the first three months. I couldnt leave town, but ya know, I did manage to sneak off a few times. <br /><br /><br />Ken
