Plan to glue down Nautolex Deco Dot marine vinyl deck covering. Its a solid vinyl product with a light fabric backing. The deck will be sealed with a glass/poly resin coat, so it will be non-porous.
I am concerned about the dry ability of water based "outdoor carpet" adhesives, because neither the deck, or the Nautolex will let vapor pass through, so I wonder how a water based product will dry.
The concern with a solvent based adhesive is if it will affect the vinyl Nautolex, and also if it will dry quickly between glass and vinyl.
What do you think? Which is the best product?
BTW, Nautolex does sell a solvent based adhesive, but it is nearly 4 times the price of the adhesives sold by the marine deck covering retailers. Due to budget constraints, trying to avoid buying the Nautolex adhesive.
