Whale Board

I would like to know if anyone has/is using whale board to replace the wood in there boat/s. The floor in mine has a soft spot and I will be reworking it this winter. in looking for alternatives I found this site http://www.richlite.com/whaleboard.html I would like any opinions thanx <br />Richard

Hi, Richard. If Boston Whaler endorses it, it must be good stuff. I have asked for a catalog/price list. It might turn out to be as costly as Starboard, but it might also be stronger.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB :)

Very durable,and very costly. But if you are gonna keep the boat for a long time, it will pay for itself. An area prone to damage will eventually go south again.<br />Also check into "Starlite", made by the same folks who make "Starboard". It is lighter and cheaper than starboard.
