With engine now out and the flooring and foam, beside the bilge, removed, my wellspring of water has finally dried up. Apparently the water had been wicking uphill, thru the core hull layup and coming to the suface inside the tank well.

After pulling the motor but before removing the last of the floorboards and foam (blue arrows), I left the boat bow down for a couple of hours. Water actually came out and puddled, six feet further up, from under a layer of hull mat. I cranked the bow back up and that water disappeared back where it came from.
