...........absolutely nothing went wrong. The Admiral and I went to my FIL's cabin for some 'adult only' time for our aniversary. Loaded the boat and fired it up on the hose in the driveway - all systems go. Got to the lake and found the ramp a hive of activity. Pulled into the prep lane, unhooked tiedowns, lights, check drain plug, blower on, ready and waiting. My turn came up and got her backed in (the boat 
) right next to the dock so the Admiral (who is in an air-cast after an ankle surgery BTW) can hold the lines while I park. Unhook safety chain and winch, a gentle push and she's off. Pull out and park in one of the last available spots. Total elapsed time - about 2 minutes. Fire up, warm up and off we go.
Nice easy cruise up to the cabin on calm waters (<1' chop) - about 40 min @ 35mph. Two days of gorgeous weather and .....er....'fresh air and exercise' Ride back down was a little rougher 2-2 1/2' chop but the boat handles it necely. Arrive at the dock after passing through the mob of skiiers and jet fleas all cruising around just out in front of the ramp. (It's a BIG lake. ) Hop out and get the truck, drive down and fortunately get to back right in with no wait. Winch her up ( the boat ) attach chain and pull up to the tie-down area to secure everything and off we go.
Whatever time and money I've spent on the boat were worth it! Hmmmm.... sounds like a good master-card commercial!

Fuel- $150
Parking- $10
