Hi everyone!
My name is Luis and I'm from Puerto Rico. Although this is my first post, I've been reading around the forum for a while now. Actually ever since I found out that my newly acquire Eclipse was a lost cause in terms of the deck. First I though it was rot but it ended up being termites!! Been my first boat I wasn't sure what to do so I started ready all around the web and youtube. Thats how I got finally to here. Although there isn't that much info on my specific boat model I found all the video from friscoboater on youtube and that when I decided to tackle the task. Definitly having no idea how or what to do but since I consider myself a fast learner and a handy guy I said what the hell, lets go for it.
So today the long and frustrating process got its start!
Here are a few pictures of the deck tear down. Feel free to comment on everything as I'm doing this to learn and save the life of my first boat.
