golfer_66ky, maybe you should go back and check your post. You got 7 replies to it and Bob_VT wasn't one of them. But then again you said you wouldn't be back so you probably won't see this. Good luck

"Gimme, gimme, gimme........"
As someone said about buying a boat, theres cheap, relible and fast, you can't have all three. This guy was cheap and fast, it's obvious which he left out.
It's sad because people go to a lot of trouble helping others on this board. Perhaps we're better off.......
Ross
PS - by the way golfer_66ky when you read this (oh yes he'll read it all right, these types always wait around to see what reaction they get) I hope you feel bloody stupid. As I see it you've got a stricken boat and want to pay top dollar for something you can fix. Good decision mate!!!

As a newbie (and I assume gofer 86 is as well) I gotta protest. Just been on here a month and have learned tons. Many thanks to all the reg'lars and experts.
h2o.

This is another case were a new member should have read JB's Suggestions for new posters

6. Be patient. If you haven't had a reply, it is because no one with a useful reply has come along. (or everyone is at work and will get back to you later in the day)

Re: Well its TIME to call a REAL Mercruiser Mech

I hate crying. Sorry if you are offended (thin skinned) you posted the same question a number of times.
I suggested you clean the contacts and wd-40 the switch in one post. Clanton (Good man) recommended how to test things in another post and in yet another post people told you where the sender is located. People were just trying to be neighborly and help. Just loose the I WANT IT NOW attitude and calm down.

Since your leaving all of us with such an attitude go with these final words. Thank you for visiting and contributing to the iboat boating forum. Your haste and posting ability has now taught everyone how to troubleshoot and locate the trim on a mercruiser.

Have a nice day :)

On behalf of all the people who pitched in to help ...Thank you people!!! :D

Bob_VT

What's the going rate for a Certified Mercruiser Dealer? I would bet plenty of them are right here.

Fogive me JB I actually answered this guys question in two forums  but of his 6 posts they were all trim questions

Re: Well its TIME to call a REAL Mercruiser Mech

what normally happens is that an engine bay that is kept so clean (see simple question) usually blows a front main oil seal from over cleaning !!!
