told by all not to go with 5200 as a spread on hole filler but took putty blade and spread it on alum boat sides had pits and holes from salt electrolyssis 4 days now its tack free and springy will try to cover with spray paint this is a camo paint boat looks not important,but boat is untried by me and want it to last at least to spring then will re examine value of boat and use gluvit if warranted if anybody interested will post pics and update.

Well..... consider a second coat and keep us informed. It will probably hold up fine.

let us know how it hold up. concern is the flex of the aluminum, and difference in expansion, contraction.
