Trollhole-<br />Ditto what jack shellac stated. we all love our wives but my other fishing partners won't get mad at me for "not listening" or "being snappy" or forgetting the TP and custom made gourmet sandwiches .....nothing quite like a can of viennas and an oatmeal creampie lunch!

Trollhole, Congratualtions. Marriage has its ups and downs, but if you truly marry the right person, the it's a good thing. Make sure you communicate and that she understands about the fishing and the boats up front. Everyone has to have a hobby and she needs to udnerstand that. You need to unserstand that she needs to have a hobby even if you find one for her. It is a two way street. My wife was jealous of my going away once a year for a couple days with the guys until, I told her she should do the same thing with her sisters. Now she goes away 3 times a year with her sisters and she would do anything to make sure I can go away that one time a year. As for fishing, they need to understand it makes you happy. Once she starts catching keeper fish in a serene environment, then she may never turn to the dark side. Good luck.<br /><br />P.S. I got lucky on the makeup thing. My wife does not wear any unless it is a formal gathering, then it is minimal.

hey scoop... my wife wears very little as well, unfortunately, her best friend that lives in NYC introduced her to some fancy-smancy makeup place in times square that sells $$$ brands when we were up there visiting in november. Now she justifies this high priced junk by trying to pull the quality verses quantity argument! But, I must say that in marriage, this argument can be a wonderful one for your wife to make. After she makes her argument, GIVE IN W/O ARGUING, then you can proceed with your quality argument concerning new boats/rods/reels/etc.
