weld aluminum boat that has a crake

I'm looking for how to weld a aluminum boat. I now how to tig weld aluminum. I'm looking for what rod, gas and tungsten to use or can i arc weld it with aluminum arc rod or what best. The boat is a 1985 miccro craft 17' it has 3 crake in it one is at front hall it aboute 1' long.

You will need straight argon only. 2% zirconium or pure tungsten 5356 wire 3/32 and a machine that has ac and high frequency continous. The tungsten should ball up on the end and use about 1 amp for every .001 of thickness (1/8 boat= 125 amps)

thank you i have all that and do i need a special aluminum for a backer plate to make it stronger.
