In 77 the long shaft electric weighed 82 lbs, not much difference between 77 and 83, add a couple of lbs for the 10 inch ext vs the 5.

thank for the reply. was wondering because i had that motor on as my kicker and replaced it with a 9.9 yammy 4 stroke that weighs 101 lbs, just felt so much heaver than sailmaster and was concerned about putting too much weight on stern area, i did locate the 11 gal gas tank. again thanks for help to center of boat for weight transfer
