Hello,
I am new here and not really a boat guy so be nice, lol. I am pretty handy though and know woodwork/carpentry well. I was lucky enough to acquire this Webbcraft WC-20 233hp Mercruiser.. I am not sure what year it is.
I was hoping for some help with finding the year, any manuals, blueprints or if anyone might know of anything that may help me!!
I understand the project I’ve got here but I am determined to get this beauty on the water again. I have made progress this week and have basically stripped the whole interior down.
Thanks, please ask any questions if I didn’t address something, I need the help!

No blueprints available

What year does the paperwork say it is? In some states paperwork is a problem

No manual for the boat itself either thats worth anything, but get a factory service manual for the driveline.

Should build a cradle to better support the hull before any further demo. Unsupported it could deform and create further problems beyond new stringers decks and transom

Get a pencil, paper, and a tape measure and start making your own sketches of things before you start ripping into it. On my restoration project I even saved the remains of the pieces I ripped out to refer back to until I had new pieces built and installed.

As @jbcurt00 was hinting at, if you don't have titles for the boat and trailer, double check your state laws regarding legality of ownership and/or what hoops you have to jump through to get the boat and trailer in your name before sinking a dime into either one. It would suck to spend money on a boat and trailer that isn't yours.

Just so you know what you're getting into...I think you should plan for $10-$12K to bring this boat back to glory if the engine and drive just need maintenance items. Plan for more if you have to dive into the engine or drive.
