Extremely chilly temperatures were forecast from Montana through the Great Lakes on Saturday. Significant snow was expected to fall in the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley, eventually moving into the Northeast.

Dangerous winds chills reaching minus 40 degrees were possible in the upper Midwest because of an arctic cold front. Blizzards conditions were anticipated when the windy conditions combine with a dusting of snow.

Be safe out there and take care of the outside pets.

Mid 70's here I believe, nice being able to go out in a short sleeve shirt and not having to worry about a coat :D. But the nights are still a little chilly.

Fair and mild. High around 70*.

Lissen, dudes. Don't whine. That is the price you pay for upper midwestern summers.

This is the reward we get for putting up with southern summers. :)

Re: Weather alert

5 inches of snow this morning, 40 this afternoon with rain this evening, most of the snow melted, now the wind is picking up (40+ mph called for) and supposed to be in the teens tonight, and single digits tomorrow. Big change from 60's the other day.

I was just givin' you a hard time -- I had just come from the Bank of America post, and it was shut down, due to racism, and name calling....

I figured this one would be in the crapper too, after your remarks. :D

You gotta let that stuff go once you leave the thread in question... otherwise it just builds up and eventually you become bitter at the world.

I call things as I see them, and I may not pull many punches, but I also don't hold many grudges. It's a good way to keep the conversation civil most of the time. :)

NASTY NASTY NASTY STUFF!!!! We were on a bus trip to the casino. Normally a 2 hour ride took 3 hours. Several whiteouts and dead stops along the way. The trip home was pretty much business as usual.

Never again though.
